Description
Gangtok holiday package offers a blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and peaceful retreats. The journey begins with your arrival at Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri, followed by a scenic drive to Gangtok, where you'll settle in and enjoy an evening stroll around MG Road. The second day is dedicated to exploring Gangtok's highlights, including Tashi Viewpoint with its stunning Kanchenjunga views, Ganesh Tok, the Enchey Monastery, and the beautiful Banjhakri Waterfalls. The city's Flower Exhibition Center and Do Drul Chorten Stupa offer more cultural insights.
On day three, you’ll embark on an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a serene glacial lake, and the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple. For the adventurous, Nathula Pass, located near the Indo-China border, can be included, depending on permits and weather. The next day takes you from Gangtok to Pelling, a quieter town known for its breathtaking views. In Pelling, you’ll visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and Khecheopalri Lake, with its spiritual significance.
Day six is a trip to Namchi, where you’ll explore the grand Char Dham complex and see the statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse Hill, before returning to Gangtok. On the final day, after breakfast, you’ll head back to Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri for your onward journey, enriched by the natural beauty and cultural richness of Sikkim

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted and driven to Gangtok, a journey of around 4-5 hours through scenic mountain roads. Once in Gangtok, check into your hotel and relax after the long journey. In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk around MG Road, Gangtok's popular shopping and dining hub, and get a taste of the local vibe. Spend the night at the hotel, preparing for an exciting week ahead

After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Gangtok. Start with a visit to Tashi Viewpoint for stunning panoramic views of the mighty Kanchenjunga. Continue to Ganesh Tok, a small temple that also offers great views of the surrounding landscape. Visit the historic Enchey Monastery before heading to Banjhakri Waterfalls, a serene spot surrounded by lush greenery. Next, explore the Flower Exhibition Center, home to a vibrant display of orchids and local flora. End the day at Do Drul Chorten Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist monuments in Sikkim. Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay
Gangtok
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable excursion to Tsomgo Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 feet. This glacial lake is one of the most beautiful and serene spots in Sikkim, often frozen in winter. After soaking in the beauty of the lake, proceed to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier known for his supernatural presence. If time and permits allow, you can also visit Nathula Pass, the Indo-China border, for an exhilarating experience. Return to Gangtok in the evening for another night in the city
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and prepare for your journey back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward travel, taking with you wonderful memories of your Sikkim adventure
