If you’re visiting during winter, you may also witness the spectacular snow-covered landscapes. After your visit, return to Lachung for lunch, then drive back to Gangtok. Visit the famous Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Sikkim, known for its beautiful architecture and spiritual significance. Next, head to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which houses a vast collection of Tibetan artifacts, manuscripts, and Buddhist statues. Continue to the Flower Exhibition Centre, where you can see a wide variety of seasonal flowers. In the afternoon, visit the Tashi Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range, followed by a visit to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, offering serene views of the surrounding landscapes.
