After breakfast, explore Thimphu's highlights, starting with Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the government and monastic body. After breakfast, drive to Punakha (approx. 2.5 hours). Stop at Dochula Pass to enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 chortens. Once in Punakha, explore the stunning Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. Afterward, hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, which offers beautiful views of the valley. Depart for Paro (approx. 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, visit Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress known for its unique architecture.
