Morning: Arrive in Nainital. Depending on your arrival time, check into your hotel. Relax and freshen up after your journey. Afternoon: Explore Nainital Lake: Enjoy a boat ride and take in the beautiful scenery. Visit Naina Devi Temple located near the lake.
Kausani
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Kausani (approximately 120 km; 4-5 hours). Afternoon: Arrive in Kausani and check into your hotel. Visit the Anasakti Ashram: It offers stunning views of the Himalayas and insights into Mahatma Gandhi’s stay here. Evening: Relax and enjoy the serene environment of Kausani. Optional: Visit the local market or take a leisurely walk.
Kausani
Visit the Baijnath Temple: An ancient temple with historical significance. Explore the Sumitranandan Pant Museum, dedicated to the famous Hindi poet. Afternoon: Have lunch and then visit the Kausani Tea Estate to learn about tea production and enjoy some fresh tea. Evening: Return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Ranikhet
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Ranikhet (approximately 90 km; 3-4 hours). Afternoon: Arrive in Ranikhet and check into your hotel. Visit the Jhula Devi Temple and the Mankameshwar Temple. Evening: Explore the local markets or take a stroll through the beautiful pine forests and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive back to Nainital (approximately 80 km; 3 hours). Afternoon: Depending on your departure time, you might have some time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Nainital. Proceed to your onward journey.
