Gangtok
Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The scenic drive takes around 4-5 hours, offering beautiful views of the Himalayan foothills. After checking into your hotel, take the rest of the day to relax or explore the local markets on MG Road. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Gangtok
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The serene, glacial lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, making it a perfect spot for photography. After spending some time at the lake, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to a revered Indian Army soldier. Return to Gangtok in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Darjeeling
After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour of Gangtok. Visit popular attractions such as the Rumtek Monastery, the Enchey Monastery, and the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, where you can see traditional Sikkimese arts and crafts.
