By Air: The nearest airport is in Kullu (Bhuntar Airport), about 200 km away from Kaza, the administrative center of Spiti. By Train: The closest major railway station is in Shimla. From Shimla, you can drive or take a bus to Spiti. By Road: Spiti Valley is accessible by road from Manali and Shimla. The journey from Manali is via the Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, which are usually open from June to September. The route from Shimla is via the Hindustan-Tibet Road
