Check out from your Dalhousie hotel after breakfast and drive to Chamba, approximately a 2-hour journey. On arrival, check into your hotel and then visit the Chamba Museum, which showcases the region’s rich cultural heritage. Explore the historic Lakshmi Narayan Temple and enjoy a stroll around the picturesque Chaugan (a large open ground). Overnight stay in Chamba.

The ideal time to visit both Dalhousie and Chamba is from March to June when the weather is pleasant and suitable for sightseeing. For those who enjoy winter activities and snow, visiting from November to February is also a good option.
By Air: The nearest airports are in Pathankot (for Dalhousie) and Amritsar (for Chamba). You can fly to these airports and take a taxi to your destinations. By Train: Pathankot Railway Station is the closest major railhead to Dalhousie. From there, you can take a taxi or local bus to Dalhousie and Chamba. By Road: Both Dalhousie and Chamba are accessible by road from Delhi and Chandigarh. A direct drive will take approximately 8-10 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
A 5-day itinerary is ideal for exploring both destinations. Typically, 2 days in Dalhousie and 2 days in Chamba, with travel time in between, will allow you to enjoy the key attractions and experiences.
